Wipe switch cover and switch enclosure mating surfaces of any conductive grease or corrosion preventive
compound.

Remove electrical tape (if present) and wire nuts (Figure 5, Item 3) from remaining wires (white/neutral and
green/ground) in switch enclosure (Figure 5, Item 2).

Pull cable (Figure 5, Item 1) from switch enclosure (Figure 5, Item 2).
Section 1 - Cable (Plug to Toggle Switch) Inspection
1.  Inspect the power plug at the end of the cable. If power plug is serviceable, then remove power plug from
cable (WP 0023) and reuse power plug in cable installation below. If power plug is unserviceable, then
discard cable and plug.
Section 1 - Cable (Power Plug to Toggle Switch) Installation
1.  Manufacture new section 1 cable (WP 0041).
2.  On the end of the cable, with 2 inches of outer cable jacket insulation removed, install the power plug
(WP 0023).
NOTE
Loosen gland nut to allow better access to wires.
