Intake Valve
Prevents backlow of fuel into the suction hose. Prevents cavitation
(air pockets) in the pump. The valve operates automatically (it is not
operated by the user).

Pump Discharge Pipe
Directs fuel from the pump to the ilter assembly and ultimately to the
fuel nozzle.

Priming Port
Used to ill empty pump with an initial amount of fuel to enable the pump
to operate properly.

Pump Drain Assembly
Drains fuel from the pump and discharge pipe when open.
