OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS
DESCRIPTION AND USE OF CONTROLS AND INDICATORS
INTRODUCTION
This work package describes the location and function of all operator controls and indicators of the Fuel Distribution
System (FDS).
NOTE
The operator should become familiar with the FDS controls and indicators before operating
the equipment.

Cargo Container Latches
Secures the cargo container to the frame.

Cargo Container Lid Latch Secures the cargo container lid shut.

Filter Shell Knobs
Secures the ilter shell to the ilter head. Loosen knobs to replace the
ilter cartridge.

Filter Drain Valve
Used to drain fuel from the ilter shell.

Ground Cables
Enables static charge dissipation to prevent accidental fuel vapor
ignition.

Swivel Joint
Enables hose reel rotation.
7
Hose Reel Crank Handle
Retracts discharge hose onto hose reel. It may be stored on the hose
reel assembly or in the cargo container.
