NOTE
FDS cam-locking ittings include the pump inlet assembly, priming port, and ilter drain. This
procedure is applicable to all cam-locking ittings.
STEP 1.
Verify suction hose, dust caps and dust plugs are properly connected (WP 0005).
STEP 2.
Is cam-locking leaking fuel?
a. If Yes, contact Maintainer Maintenance.
b. If No, malfunction corrected.
MALFUNCTION
Cam-locking ittings are dirty or gaskets damaged or missing.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
STEP 1.
Shut down FDS (WP 0005).
STEP 2.
Separate male and female cam-locking ittings (WP 0005).
STEP 3.
Inspect gasket on female itting or cap. If missing, replace gasket.
STEP 4.
Inspect gasket for cuts, wear, and lat spots. Notify Maintainer Maintenance if visibly damaged.
STEP 5.
Reconnect cam-locking ittings ( WP 0005).
STEP 6.
Is cam-locking adapter leaking fuel?
a. Yes, contact Maintainer Maintenance.
b. No, malfunction is corrected.
SYMPTOM
Fuel leaks from ilter shell.
MALFUNCTION
Failed O-ring.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Disassemble ilter housing and replace O-ring (WP 0015).
