STEP 3.
If the problem is not corrected, replace the pump (WP 0026).
SYMPTOM
Flow meter reading does not match the dispensed volume.
MALFUNCTION
Flow meter does not display the correct reading.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
STEP 1.
Remove low meter and send to Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) for calibration.
STEP 2.
Replace the low meter, if problem is not corrected (WP 0036).
SYMPTOM
Flanged joints leaking fuel.
MALFUNCTION
Flanges are loose or gaskets damaged.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
Flange joints are located between the pump and ilter, and on both the inlet and outlet langes
of the low meter. These joints contain compressible gaskets.
STEP 1.
Tighten fasteners retaining langes together (WP 0026, WP 0036).
STEP 2.
Is langed joint leaking fuel?
a. If Yes, proceed to next malfunction
b. If No, malfunction corrected.
MALFUNCTION
Gasket improperly seated or damaged.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
STEP 1.  Drain FDS.
STEP 2.  Disassemble langed joint (WP 0026), (WP 0036).
STEP 3.
Remove gasket.
STEP 4.
Clean langes.
STEP 5.
Replace gasket and reassemble lange joint (WP 0026), (WP 0036).
