SYMPTOM
Flow meter is not showing fuel amounts correctly or is not working.
MALFUNCTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION
STEP 1.
Ensure differential pressure gauge is in normal operating range.
STEP 2.
Contact Maintainer Maintenance if problem is not corrected.
SYMPTOM
Fuel nozzle does not release fuel or fuel discharge is low.
MALFUNCTION
Fuel nozzle is not working or leaks.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
STEP 1.
Inspect fuel nozzle for damage.
STEP 2.
Contact Maintainer Maintenance if problem is not corrected.
SYMPTOM
Pump motor operates, but pump does not pump luid or pumps at a low low rate.
MALFUNCTION
Clogged fuel ilter.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
STEP 1. With motor running and system set up for pumping, check differential pressure gauge. Replace ilter
IAW WP 0015, if gauge reads in red zone.
STEP 2.
Contact Maintainer Maintenance if problem is not corrected.
MALFUNCTION
Discharge head too high. (Excessive elevation distances between nozzle and FDS or FDS and fuel
source).
CORRECTIVE ACTION
STEP 1. Relocate nozzle, FDS or fuel source to minimize elevations. Refer to WP 0005 for proper siting
of the FDS.
STEP 2. Contact Maintainer Maintenance if problem is not corrected.
MALFUNCTION
Air and luid leaks present in FDS luid circuit and ittings.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
STEP 1. Check for air and luid leaks along luid circuit and FDS ittings. Inspect and reseat cam-locking ittings.
Inspect and tighten ilter vent valve if necessary.
STEP 2.
Contact Maintainer Maintenance if problem is not corrected.
SYMPTOM
Cam-locking ittings leaking fuel or will not connect.
MALFUNCTION
Cam-locking itting is leaking fuel or is improperly connected.
