Clean and Inspect Pump Inlet
1.  Using a cleaning cloth, clean pump inlet cam-locking coupling half (Figure 1, Item 1) and dust plug (Figure
1, Items 4).
2.  Inspect pump inlet cam-locking coupling half (Figure 1, Item 1) for cracks, chips, corrosion, and damage.
Replace pump inlet cam-locking coupling half (Figure 1, Item 1), if any of these conditions are found.
3.  Inspect dust plug (Figure 1, Item 4) for cracks, chips, and damage. Replace dust plug (Figure 1, Item 4) if any
of these conditions are found.
Install Inlet Gasket
1.  Install new gasket (Figure 1, Item 3) in pump inlet cam-locking coupling half (Figure 1, Item 1).
NOTE
Perform step 2 only if pump inlet cam-locking coupling half is not being connected to suction
hose. Perform step 3 only if pump inlet cam-locking coupling half is being connected to suction
hose.
2.
Install dust plug (Figure 1, Item 4) in pump inlet cam-locking coupling half (Figure 1, Item 1).
3.
Install suction hose to pump inlet cam-locking coupling half (WP 0005).
4.
Push down cam-locking levers (Figure 1, Item 2) on pump inlet cam-locking coupling half (Figure 1, Item 1).
5.
Operate IAW WP 0005. Inspect for leaks.

Remove Priming Port Dust Cap Gasket
1.  Drain pump (WP 0005).
