Repair Pump Drain
1. Check for missing, cracked, chipped, or burred parts as required.
2. Repair is by replacement of authorized parts (WP 0045), for pump drain assembly parts. Disassemble
as required for repair.
NOTE
Manufacture new drain tube IAW WP 0043, if needed.

Remove traces of pipe sealant from threaded parts.
4.
Clean other parts as required.
Install Pump Drain
1. Apply pipe sealant to male NPT-threaded ittings.
2. Assemble elbow (Figure 2, Item 1) to ball valve (Figure 2, Item 2), then assemble ball valve to bushing
(Figure 2, Item 3).
3. Using a wrench on reducing bushing (Figure 2, Item 3), install pump drain assembly (Figure 2, Item 2) onto
pump housing (Figure 2 Item 4). Ensure open end of drain elbow (Figure 2, Item 1) faces the hole in FDS
bottom tub (Figure 2, Item 5).
4. Ensure lever handle of valve (Figure 2, Item 2), faces up and the open end of the drain elbow (Figure 2, Item
1) faces the hole in the FDS cart loor pan (Figure 2, Item 5).
5. Tighten bushing, then valve, then elbow, ensuring the valve and elbow are aligned as shown in Figure 2.
