Coat the male threads of the hose reel threaded hub (Figure 9, Item 1) with pipe sealant.

Attach the swivel joint (Figure 10, Item 2) to the hose reel threaded hub (Figure 10, Item 1). Do not fully tighten
the swivel joint onto the threaded hub at this time.
