CAUTION
Failure to adequately support the pipe assembly during removal may result in damage to
the equipment.
NOTE
Use a utility pail to capture any fuel that may spill from the pipe assembly.

While supporting pipe assembly (Figure 5, Item 2), disconnect pipe assembly lange (Figure 5, Item 1) from
low meter, by removing four screws. Discard lange gasket.

NOTE
Place a utility pail under the swivel joint to contain any fuel that may spill from the hose reel
threaded hub.
Have an assistant hold the reel crank to prevent the reel from turning when disconnecting the
swivel joint. Alternately, a long wooden stick or beam may be inserted through the center of the
hose reel to act as a stop or lever, to assist in removing the swivel joint.
