Separate housing (Figure 2, Item 2) to expose wire clamp terminals (Figure 2, Item 4).

Loosen screws on three clamp terminals (brass, silver and green screws) (Figure 2, Item 3) and remove
cable (Figure 2, Item 1).
Install Power Plug
CAUTION
Wire strands must be twisted together on each wire (black, white and green wires) to form a
tight spiral of strands prior to connecting wires to plug terminals. Failure to do so may result in
dificulty inserting into terminals, potential short-circuit and damage to equipment.

Insert each of the three wires (Figure 3, Item 1) into the corresponding clamp terminals (Figure 3, Item 2) in the
plug. White wire connects to clamp terminal with silver screw; black wire connects to clamp terminal with brass
screw, green wire connects to clamp terminal with green screw. Tighten screws (Figure 3, Item 5) securely.

Join housing halves (Figure 3, Item 3) together, ensure cable (Figure 3, Item 6) rests in cord insert (Figure
3, Item 4).
