ALTERNATOR REPAIR (continued).
NOTE
•
Perform step 3 only if bearing was removed from slip ring end housing.
•
When bearing is properly installed, part number on bearing will face to the outside of slip ring end
housing.
3.
Install bearing (47) in slip ring end housing (15).
4.
Install rotor (16) in drive end housing (17).
5.
Install flanged dust cap (46) in slip ring end housing (15).
6.
Install four terminal stud insulating bushings (45) in slip ring end housing (15).
