2-24 REPLACE/REPAIR THROTTLE ACTUATOR, QUICK RELEASE LINK, AND MAGNETIC
PICKUP (Continued)
INSTALLATION:
1 Screw magnetic pickup (2) into adapter housing (4).
Tighten locking nut (3). Connect wire leads (1) as
tagged during removal.
CAUTION
Do not damage the knurls of the actuator
drive shaft. When installing the actuator
arm, be sure the notches of the arm mesh
with the knurls of the shaft.
2 Loosen but do not remove nut (9) and screw (8)
captive in actuator arm (10). Install actuator arm
(10) on the knurled drive shaft of the actuator (5)
and tighten nut (9) and screw (8).
3 Install mounting bracket (4) onto actuator (5) using
four screws (6) and four lockwashers (7).
4 Install actuator (5) and mounting bracket (4) using two
screws (1), two lockwashers (2), and two internal
tooth washers (3).
