2-24. REPLACE/REPAIR THROTTLE ACTUATOR, QUICK RELEASE LINK, AND MAGNETIC
PICKUP (Continued)
5 Install oil pressure switch leads (3) and tighten
two screws (1) on clamp (2).
6 Apply a light coating of grease to the rod end mounting bores and to the bolt shafts before installing the quick release
link.
7 Install bolt (3) through front end of quick release link (7), throttle control lever extension, and injector throttle lever (8).
Install washer (2) and nut (1) onto bolt (3).
8 Using nut (4), washer (5), and bolt (6), secure rear rod end of quick release link (7) to actuator arm (9).
9 After attaching the quick release link end to actuator arm (9), the actuator position must be adjusted.
