Rotate the ilter cartridge (Figure 2, Item 3) down until it separates from the head (Figure 2, Item 1) and
drops into the shell (Figure 2, Item 2).

Remove the ilter shell and ilter cartridge. Discard the ilter cartridge.
Clean and Inspect - Filter Assembly.
NOTE
When replacing the ilter cartridge in the rain, work under cover or ensure rain/water does
not get into the ilter shell.

Wipe the inside of the ilter shell clean of any contaminants.
