Inspect cooler connectors for thread damage and deep scratches across sleeve mating surfaces. Replace
if defective.

Inspect sleeves for deep scratches across mating surfaces. Replace if defective.

Inspect coils for dents or evidence of leakage. Replace if defective.

Installation.
(1)
Install cooling coil (9)and tighten two nuts (8).
(2)
Thread two bolts (7)through strip (6)and rubber section (5).
(3)
Arrange two tubes (4)and install rubber section (3).
(4)
Install two plates (2)using two nuts (1).

Follow-on Maintenance.

Install cooling fan (para 5-20).
(2)
Install engine cowlings (para 5-19).
(3)
Install injector lines (para 4-41).
