• General mechanic's tool kit (Item 4, Appendix B)
• Semitrailer uncoupled (refer to TM 9-2330-398-10).
• Semitrailer bonded and grounded (refer to
TM 9-2330-398-10).

REMOVAL
WARNING
Ladder has narrow tread. Use care when climbing.
1. Remove cap (2) from fill gage storage tube (1).
2. Remove two S-hooks (3), spring (5), and chain (4) from fill gage storage tube (1) and cap (2).
b.
INSTALLATION
1. Install chain (4) and spring (5) on fill gage storage tube (1) and cap (2) with two S-hooks (3).
2. Install cap (2) in place on fill gage storage tube (1).
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
• Disconnect ground (refer to TM 9-2330-398-10).
