Armature, field tube, and impeller removed from
housing PARA 2-18

Cleaning Cloth, Nonwoven, NSN 8305-00-753-2967
500 or 600 Grit, Wet or Dry Emery Paper
Dry Cleaning Solvent, NSN 6850-00-274-5421
Brush, Soft Bristle, Cleaning
Personnel Required:
68F Aircraft Electrician
1. REMOVAL
a. Remove nuts (1). Remove positive lead terminal
lug (2) and secondary lead terminal lug (3) from
brush holder studs.
b. Remove machine screws (4) and lockwashers (5).
Remove brush holder assembly (6) from impeller
housing (7).
