7 Remove two cotter pins (1) and two rods (2).
CAUTION
Support fuel tank shield during removal so it
does not fall on brake lines.
8 Remove fuel tank shield (3).
9 Remove screws (4), lock- washers (5), flat washers
(6), and nuts (7) on both sides of fuel tank straps (8).
CAUTION
Support fuel tank during removal so it does
not fall on brake lines.
10 Remove fuel tank assembly (9) and fuel tank straps
(8).
