2-15. ASSEMBLY AND PREPARATION FOR USE - cont.
l. Fire Extinguisher Installation. Before operating the AFARE, fire extinguishers must be positioned in
the fuel system in the event of a fire. Refer to local standard operating procedures for placement of
the fire extinguishers within the fuel system.
(1) Lift handle (1) and unlatch hook (2) from fire extinguisher (3).
(2) Remove fire extinguisher (3) from frame (4).
(3) Repeat steps (1) and (2) for two remaining fire extinguishers.
