TM10-4330-235-13&P 4-7.  REPAIR  CANISTER This task covers: a.   Repair INITIAL SETUP Tools General Mechanic Tool Kit (Appendix B, Section Ill, Item 4) Materials/Parts Spring Tension Washer (Appendix H, Item 4) Equipment  Conditions Canisters Removed General Safety Instructions (Para.  4-6) WARNING Do not smoke within 50 feet (15.34 meters) of filter/separator. REPAIR CAUTION Do not allow any metal object to come in contact with teflon coated screen in canister. a.   Insert   a   flat   blade   screwdriver   in   notch   (1) nearest  boss  (2)  and  engage  it  behind  spring washer (3). b.   Press   end   of   spring   washer   (3)   to   center   of canister mouth. Grasp spring washer with pliers and pull inward and out. c.  Install  new  spring  washer  (3)  so  that  one  end  is against boss (2) in groove and compress spring washer into place. d.  Refer  to  paragraph  4-6  and  install  canister. 4-7
