e. Install the oil drain plug.
f. Lightly lubricate the seal on the oil filter.
CAUTION
Do not use oil filter wrench. Over-tightening
may damage the seal or allow the filter to
seize.
g. Install the oil filter hand tight.
h. Add 1.9 qt (1.8 1) oil to the engine.
i. Install the oil filler cap.
j. Install the engine module in the pump-engine module.
Refer to paragraph 2.4.d.
k. Start and run the engine for two or three minutes, checking
for oil leaks.
l. Stop engine; wait 2-3 minutes.
m. Check the engine oil level. Add oil to a level between MIN
and MAX marks on dipstick.

Perform valve lash check and adjustment. Refer to paragraph 4.14.3.Valves are out of
adjustment.

Clean and inspect fuel injectors.Refer to paragraph 4.14.4.
