TM 10-4320-324-14 2-4.  PMCS Procedures. The pumping assembly PMCS procedures are listed in Table 2-1.  When filling out the "Item Number" column on DA Form 2404, Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet, use the number taken from Item No.  column in Table 2-1 to record results of the checks and services.  Item number also refers to index numbers on figures 2-2 and 2-3. NOTE If the equipment must be kept in continuous operation, check and service only those items that can be checked and serviced  without  disturbing  operation.    Make  the  complete  checks  and  services  when  the  equipment  can  be  shut down. Within designated interval, these checks are to be performed in the order listed.  Perform weekly PMCS as well as before operations PMCS if: (1) assigned to the operator and the item has not been operated since the last weekly PMCS. (2) operating the item for the first time. Table 2-1.  Operator/Crew Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) B - Before D - During A - After W - Weekly M - Monthly Interval Procedures Equipment Is Item Item To Be Check For  And Have Repaired Not Ready/ No B D    A W M Inspected Or Adjust As Necessary Available If: 1 Noise enclosure Visually inspect for missing or loose attaching parts, broken reflectors, and damaged panels. 2 Access Doors Visually inspect for missing or loose attaching parts, broken or loose door latches and door hinges. 3 Suction and Check that valve turns on and off Valve does not turn on Discharge freely.  Check for leaks around and off.  If any class III Valves attachment points. water leaks or any fuel leaks are present. 4 Centrifugal Check for signs of leakage. If any class III water leaks Pump or any fuel leaks are present. 5 Battery Box Inspect for corrosion.  Check to Cover ensure box cover has not been damaged. 2-6
