Spark arrestor may be extremely hot after
Solvent, dry cleaning, item 15, appendix E
operation. Let engine cool before performing
the following procedure.
Wear personal protective equipment
when using cleaning solvent.
a.
Removal.
(1)
Remove two nuts (1), clamp base (2), and u-bolt (3).
(2)
Remove spark arrestor assembly (4).
b.
Disassembly. Remove nut (5), flat washer (6), cap (7), plate (8), and baffles (9) from base (10).
