Check/Service.
Capable If:
CAUTION
Do not use more oil than
specified as a starting agent
or equipment damage could
result. Too much oil could
result in engine reversal.
Should this occur, engine
exhaust will be emitted from
air intake. Stop engine at
once. The oil pump in the
engine does not work in
reverse and severe engine
damage could result.

OIL CAP/
GAUGE
Inspect for missing or damaged oil
cap/gauge. Check oil level.
(See L0104320-316-12.)
Oil cap/gauge is missing

assembly for loose or missing
hardware.
b.
Inspect for damaged or
deformed springs.
Hardware is loose or
missing.
Springs
are
damaged or deformed.
CAUTION
Do not stop engine suddenly
since
it
may
cause
the
temperature to get too high and
cause possible damage to the
engine. When stopping engine,
reduce the load slowly and
allow the engine to run at idle
speed for 3 minutes before
stopping engine.
Do
not
stop
engine
with
decompression lever as engine
damage may result. If engine
cannot
be
stopped
by
the

move the fuel cock handle to
the horizontal to close the cock
