Capable If: CAUTION Do not use more oil than specified as a starting agent or equipment damage could result.  Too much oil could result in engine reversal. Should this occur, engine exhaust will be emitted from air intake.  Stop engine at once.  The oil pump in the engine does not work in reverse and severe engine damage could result. 23 Before OIL CAP/ GAUGE Inspect  for  missing  or  damaged  oil cap/gauge.  Check oil level. (See L0104320-316-12.) Oil cap/gauge is missing or damaged.  Oil level is incorrect. 24 Before REGULATOR a. Check regulator bracket assembly     for     loose     or     missing hardware. b. Inspect for damaged or deformed springs. Hardware     is     loose     or missing. Springs are damaged or deformed. CAUTION Do   not   stop   engine   suddenly since it may cause the temperature to get too high and cause  possible  damage  to  the engine.  When stopping engine, reduce    the    load    slowly    and allow  the  engine  to  run  at  idle speed    for    3    minutes    before stopping engine. Do not stop engine with decompression  lever  as  engine damage  may  result.    If  engine cannot be stopped by the throttle     control     handle,     then move  the  fuel  cock  handle  to the horizontal to close the cock and   cut   off   fuel   flow   to   the engine. 2-10
