CAUTION
Improper adjustment of peeler will cause damage to pump or reduce pump capacity. Be sure
feeler gauge is placed between peeler and one of the blades of the impeller.
(a) Loosen nut (4) and set screw (5) and use a feeler gauge to adjust gap between peeler (7) and impeller until
gap is 0.015 in. (0.381 mm).
(b) Tighten set screw (5) and then tighten nut (4).

Apply silicone compound to packing (3).
(12)
Install new packing (3), cover plate (2), and two shoulder bolts (1) onto pump.
