2-117. IN-TANK UQUID LEVEL GAGE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT.

General mechanic's tool kit (Item 4, Appendix B)
•
Semitrailer uncoupled (refer to TM 9-2330-398-10).
•
Semitrailer bonded and grounded (refer to
Materials/Parts:
TM 9-2330-398-10).
•
Cotter pin (Item 9, Appendix F)
•
Manhole cover opened (refer to TM 9-2330-398-10).

REMOVAL
Remove cotter pin (2), nut (3), and in-tank liquid level gage (4) from rod (1). Discard cotter pin.
b.
INSTALLATION
Install in-tank liquid level gage (4), nut (3), and new cotter pin (2) on rod (1).
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
•
Close manhole cover (refer to TM 9-2330-398-10).
•
Disconnect ground (refer to TM 9-2330-398-10).
