uncoupled from towing vehicle
l Antiseizing tape (Item 18, Appendix E)

Tools/Test Equipment:
l General mechanic’s tool kit

1.
Remove dummy coupling (5) from air coupling (7).
2.
If damaged, remove preformed packing (6) from air coupling (7) and discard.
3.
Back off nut (8). Remove air coupling (7), nut, and plate (10) from nipple (9).
