e. Repair. Replace damaged components. Do not re-use o-ring.

f. Reassemblv.

(1) Connect chain (3) to plug (2) with screw (1).

(2) Apply anti-seize tape to drain plug (2) threads. Wind tape clockwise onto threads.

(3) Install plug (2) in drain fitting (6).

g. Installation.

(1) Position new o-ring (7) and drain fitting (6) on compression fitting (8).

NOTE

Ensure drain fitting plug points toward closest edge of water tank when installing drain fitting.

(2) Install eight washers (5), eight bolts (4) and connect chain (3) to drain fitting (6). Torque bolts to 30 inch-

pounds. On tanks manufactured by Amfuel Company, torque bolts to 40-60 inch-pounds.
