I-10. I DIFFERENCES BETWEEN MODELS
For 50K model PD52983-50, two 2 inch drain fitting assemblies are provided per tank, located diagonally
opposite each other, as shown in fig. I-2.1. The Drain Hose Assembly has a swivel at the threaded
nipple, to facilitate installation to Drain Fitting. Two 2 Drain Hose assemblies, one 4 Filler/Discharge
hose assembly, one 2 Drain Ball Valve assembly, and one 4 Gate Valve assembly are provided with the
tank.

For Models M52983-50 and BA92-162, a gate valve is used to control fuel flow. Gate valves are used on
the filler discharge and drain assembly, to control fuel flow to and from the tank and to allow drainage of
the tank For Models BA9 I - I40 and BA9 I - 14 1, a Butterfly valve is used to control fuel flow to and from
tank and a Ball Valve is used for drainage of the tank. For Models BA9 I - 140A and BA9 I- 14 1 A, a Ball

Valve is used on the Filler/discharge assembly.
