Table 4-2.  Troubleshooting - Continued MALFUNCTION TEST OR INSPECTION CORRECTIVE ACTION 7.  Drain Assembly leaks - Check for loose or missing hexagon head bolts. - Check O-Ring between drain fitting and tank metal face for nicks, breaks and distortion. - Tighten or replace bolts as necessary. - Remove and replace O-Ring (Ref . para. 4-11). 8.  Drain Valve Assembly leaks - Check for leaks around valve stem. - Check quick-disconnect couplings for leaks. - Check coupling fitting NPT connections for leaks. Tighten valve stem B-Nut. - Remove and replace quick disconnect gaskets, (Ref. paragraph 4-11). - Remove fitting and replace Teflon tape, (Ref. paragraph 4-11). 9.  Gate Valve Assembly leaking - Check for loose or missing hexagon head bolts and nuts. - Check for loose valve stem B-Nut. - Tighten or replace nuts and bolts as necessary. - Tighten B-Nut. 4-7
