REPLACE LUBE OIL COOLER/REPLACE LUBE OIL FILTER (Continued)

Remove bolts (1) and washers (2).

Thread cap screw/nut (3) out of the engine and remove oil cooler (4).

Remove gasket (5) and duplex ring (6).
INSPECTION:
Replace lube oil cooler if damaged.
INSTALLATION:

Install gasket (5) and duplex ring (6).

Secure oil cooler (4) in place with bolts (1) and washers (2) hand tight.

Aline oil cooler pipes, and apply hand pressure to compress duplex ring (6).

Tighten cap screw/nut (3).

Tighten bolts (1) and washers (2).

Install and secure banjo bolts and washers at both ends of injection-to-crankcase hose.
7
Install fuel injection and return lines in accordance with paragraph 3-12.
8
Fill the engine crankcase with oil in accordance with paragraph 2-1.
