6 Inspect retrofit kit.
a. Inspect throttle cable (1), quick coupler (2), nut (3), and lockwasher (4). If damaged or defective, do not repair;
replace components.
b. Check that instruction plates (5 and 6) are secure and readable. Fasten to panel (7) with new rivets if not secure.
Replace plates (5 and 6) if not readable.
c. Inspect panel (7) for minor dents, rust, corrosion, or other damage. Repair minor dents. If severely damaged, replace
retrofit kit.
