Section II. SERVICE REQUIREMENTS OF OPERATOR
A 2-4. SERVICE UPON RECEIPT OF FIRE EXTINGUISHER . Upon receipt of the model 450PKP/100 AFFF 03638MC
fire extinguisher, operating personnel should inspect, lubricate, and check for completeness of equipment as outlined in
table 2-1.
A 2-5. SERVICE REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO, DURING, AND AFTER OPERATION.
a.
General. To insure that the equipment is ready for operation at all times, it must be inspected systematically
before and after operation so that defects or inadequate changes may be discovered and corrected, or replenished,
before they result in serious damage failure. The necessary preventive maintenance services will be performed before
operation. Defects discovered during operation of the unit will be noted for future correction, to be made as soon as
operation has ceased. Because the unit is intended for emergency use only, and because its operation is limited by its
supply of chemical agents and expellent, there will normally be no deficiencies durinq operations
