Connect the sampler to the quick-release valve on the system. The three-way valve (1) must be in the OFF
position (2) before attaching the sampler to the remote assembly: the valve is closed or off when the valve arm is
positioned approximately 45 degrees from the base of the valve . (figure 2-26)

WARNING
The Sampler Valve Hose Assembly must be properly grounded to avoid possible fire or
explosion from static electrical charges. An electrical continuity test of the ground hook-up
should be performed prior to test to assure conductance of electrical charges from system to
ground.

Attach one end of ground wire (1) on any metal part of the hose assembly (2) and the other end to a ground.
