TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES
INTRODUCTION TO TROUBLESHOOTING
The Troubleshooting Malfunctions list the common malfunctions which you may find during the operation
or maintenance of the collapsible fabric petroleum tank assembly or its components. Perform the
tests/inspections and corrective actions in the order listed.
This manual cannot list all malfunctions that may occur, nor all tests or inspections and corrective actions.
If a malfunction is not listed or corrected by listed corrective actions, notify your supervisor.
TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
HOSE ASSEMBLY
SYMPTOM
Hose assembly leaks.
MALFUNCTION
Inspect hose assembly for leakage.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
If coupling is damaged, replace coupling half (WP 0025 00).
If coupling gasket is missing or damaged, replace gasket (WP
0025 00).
TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE
GATE VALVE
SYMPTOM
Gate valve leaks.
MALFUNCTION
Inspect gate valve assembly coupling half for leakage.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
If coupling is damaged, replace coupling (WP 0026 00).
If coupling gasket is missing or damaged, replace gasket (WP
0026 00).
