Unpacking Tank
WARNINGS
Lifting or moving heavy equipment incorrectly can cause serious injury. Do not try
to lift or move more than 50 pounds (22.7kg) by yourself. Always use assistants
during lifting operations. Bend legs while lifting. Do not support heavy weight
with your back.
Steel banding, cut under tension, can snap free and cause injury. Be careful when
uncrating the equipment to prevent injury or damage to equipment. Leather gloves
and face shield are required.
The top cover is heavy and difficult to handle. Two personnel are required to lift
top cover from packing crate.
To prevent injury to personnel and damage to equipment, a hoist, crane, or similar
type lifting equipment must be used to lift tank from the packing crate.
CAUTION
Be careful when unpacking the tank to avoid damage. Do not slide tank over the
side of the packing crate. Failure to comply may result in damage to the
equipment.
NOTE
Unpacking of the collapsible fabric petroleum tank is shown. Unpacking of remaining
crates for the berm liner and ground cloth is similar.
