b. Assembly.
Rubber gloves should be worn when handling fueling system components due to the toxic effects of
some fuel additives.
(1)
If necessary to install attaching cable (3) on 3-inch unisex coupling dust cap (1), thread attaching cable (3) through
split ring (5) on dust cap (1). If necessary to install attaching cable (3) on 2-inch unisex coupling dust cap (1), thread
attaching cable (3) through dust cap (1) forming a loop. Use a sleeve (6) and crimp loose end of cable to itself.
(2)
Install dust cap (1) and attaching cable (3) to unisex coupling (2) by threading attaching cable (3) through split ring
(4) on unisex coupling (2).
(3) Install dust cap (1) onto unisex coupling (2).
