CAUTION
If handle is not in the full open (over center) position, the
adapter 50 lb. poppet spring may partially close the
poppet,
increasing
refueling
time
and
causing
unnecessary wear on both nozzle and aircraft adapter.
(7) Before starting fuel flow, verify that the base of the poppet handle (5) prevents rotation of the collar (4) to the
disengaged position.
