This task consists of: a.  Disassembly b.  Inspection c.  Assembly INITIAL SET-UP: Tools: Material/Parts Required: Tool Kit, General Mechanics Solvent, Dry Cleaning (Appendix B, Section III, Item 1) (Appendix F, Section II, Item 2) Chemical and Oil Protective Gloves Lint Free Cloth (Appendix F, Section II, Item 13) (Appendix B, Section III, Item 2) Petrolatum (Appendix F, Section II, Item 10) Goggles O-Ring (Appendix I, Item 49) (Appendix B, Section III, Item 2) O-Ring (Appendix I, Item 52) Seal (Appendix I, Item 4) General Safety Requirements: Equipment Condition: Detached 2 inch valved unisex coupling WARNING (para.  4.10.2) Fuels are toxic and flammable.  Do not get on person or clothing.  Do not use near open flame.  Area should be well ventilated. · Using dry cleaning solvents incorrectly can cause injury or even death. · Fuel is flammable.  Do not smoke. WARNING Rubber  gloves  should  be  worn  when  handling  fuel  system  components  due  to toxic effects of some additives. NOTE Inspect  the  coupling  components  as  they  are  disassembled.    Repair  is  limited  to replacement    of    unserviceable    components    discovered    during    disassembly. Removed O-rings and seals shall be replaced. a. Disassembly. (1) Place  handle  assembly  (1)  in  closed  position  and  remove  dust  cap  (2)  from  2  inch  valved  unisex  coupling (3). (2) Remove screws (4) from handle assembly (1).  Remove handle assembly (1). (3) If necessary to disassemble handle assembly (1), remove screw (5), spring (6) and grip (7) from handle (8). 5-23
