Removal. (Refer to Figure 3-1)
(1)
Loosen and remove wing nut (1) and washer (2).
(2)
Detach air cleaner housing cover (3).
(3)
Remove air filter element (4).
b.
Service.
(1)
Check that air cleaner housing (5) and cover with gasket (3) are free from dirt or damage.
(2)
Check for dirty air filter element. Replace if necessary.
