Nut, Self-locking (App F, Items 63 and 65)
a. REMOVAL. Refer to Figure 2-121.
(1)
Remove self-locking nut (1), flatwashers (2), bolt (3) and loop clamp (4).
(2)
Remove shackle pin (6) from shackle (7) from lifting bar (8).
(3)
Remove bolts (9), flatwashers (10), self-locking nuts (11) and lifting bar (8) from 200/600 GPM pump (5). Discard
self-locking nuts.
b. INSTALLATION.
(1)
Position lifting bar (8) on 200/600 GPM pump (5) and secure with bolts (9), flatwashers (10) and self-locking nuts
(11).
(2)
Align holes on shackle (7) and lifting bar (8) and install shackle pin (6).
(3)
Install loop clamp (4), bolt (3), flatwashers (2) and self-locking nut (1).
