Testing.
(1) Connect multimeter as shown.
(2) Start unit (para 2-7).
(3) Operate unit at 2400 RPM.
(4) Check voltage at terminal A. Voltage should read between 13.8 to 14.8 volts.
(5) If voltage reading not within range, remove and replace alternator.
