Step 1. Check for leak in suction line. Check gasket in male hose connection.
Tighten connections. Replace defective hose or gasket.
Step 2. Check for excessively high suction lift.
Move pump closer to supply.
Step 3. Check for sufficient engine speed.
Adjust throttle to increase speed.
