Potential health hazards result from inhalation
of petroleum solvent vapors and from contact
of solvent with skin. Use rubber gloves and
hand cream for protection and work with ade-
quate ventilation.
Petroleum solvents are highly flammable.
Keep solvent container lids closed when not in
use, and avoid all possible risks of igniting sol-
vent vapors, keep away from open flame and
excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100 to
138 degrees F (38 to 59 degrees C).
Inspect strainer (37) from cracks, breaks or dogged
screen. Replace strainer if damage noted. If screen
IS clogged, clean strainer with solvent, Federal Speci-
fication cleaning compound solution and allow to dry.
Equipment is not
ready/available if:
Strainer is cracked, broken, or
screen is clogged.
