Repair of adapter sealing faces. (figure 3-9)
NOTE
Care must be taken not to leave any scratches or marks across sealing
surface.
(a)
Using medium coarse emery paper (l), remove any nicks, dents or burrs on sealing faces
(2) of grooved-end couplings.
(b)
If damage cannot be smoothed out, coupling must be replaced.
