TM 9-2330-398-24 Using hacksaw and Table D-10, cut tube to correct length. Figure D9.  Tube NOTE Tubing  can  be  reused  only  if  sufficient  length  remains  to  prevent  kinking  after assembly.  If not, replace them. 1. Using hose cutter and Table D-1 1, cut tubing for either new or replacement lengths. NOTE Nut is part of fitting to which tubing assembly connected.  Order the fitting in the quantity listed in Table D-11 to obtain the nut. 2. Install nut (3) on tubing (4). 3. Install compression sleeve (2), if required, and insert (1) in tubing (4).
