Objects entering the turbine and com- pressor chambers could seriously dam- age the turbocharger, and fragments ejected from the chambers could cause serious eye injuries. Severe burns can be caused by turbo- charger and exhaust system heated dur- ing operation of the engine.  If the engine has been running, do not touch the turbocharger or exhaust system components until they have cooled. Loosen hose clamp (1) and pull air inlet (2) from turbocharger (3) 2-18
