Dry with compressed air. 2 Inspect flywheel for cracks, rust, corrosion, or other damage. Check for damaged, chipped, or broken teeth on flywheel ring gear Check for unusual or uneven wear of ring gear. If units are severely damaged, cracked, or worn, replace flywheel.
