2-41. REPLACE/REPAIR FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY (Continued)
INSTALLATION:
CAUTION
Support fuel tank during installation so it
does not fall on brake lines.
1 Install fuel tank assembly (9) and position fuel tank
straps (8).
2 Install screws (4), lockwashers (5), flat washers (6),
and nuts (7). Tighten nuts (7) securely.
CAUTION
Support fuel tank shield during installation
so it does not fall on brake lines.
3 Install fuel tank shield (3) with two cotter pins (1)
and two rods (2).
4 Install rear jack assembly.
5 Install 3-way selector valve in accordance with
paragraph 2-43.
6 Install fuel tank lines and fittings in accordance with
para- graph 2-42.
